Beckham Second Opinion

Shortly after entering the consulting field, we started getting requests from health care organizations to review strategic plans, marketing plans, and market research that had been produced by other consulting firms or by the hospital itself. Although considerable amounts of money and time had already been dedicated, they wanted a "second opinion" before making major investments.

We responded and soon found ourselves working routinely to give health care organizations the added confidence of another perspective. In some instances, we ended up simply validating the original plan. In others, we helped fine-tune the strategies and tactics. And, on a few occasions, we recommended major changes. In every instance however, the process resulted in a richer level of understanding and more powerful implementation.

We've recently refined our process for providing Second Opinions and established a consistent approach for determining professional fees. We can provide a Second Opinion on any plan or body of research, but our projects usually fall into four categories. We offer Second Opinions on:

●  Strategic Plans

●  Marketing Plans

●  Business Plans

●  Mergers and Consolidations

We review the plans and spend time interviewing key personnel to address questions we might have. Then we develop a report and present it to the appropriate audience (or the report can be submitted confidentially). Second Opinion is an affordable way to add another level of confidence to the decisions that will shape the future of your hospital. The process is non-threatening. Turnaround is fast. And, you'll benefit from our experience with health care organizations nationwide.
